What Is EmbryoScope+?

Today, advanced technologies such as EmbryoScope+ enable fertility specialists to monitor and select embryos with greater accuracy than ever before.

EmbryoScope+ is a next-generation embryo incubator designed to optimise embryo culture conditions and improve treatment outcomes. Its key features include:

1.Incubator with Time-Lapse Technology

Unlike conventional incubators, EmbryoScope+ is equipped with a built-in high-resolution microscope that continuously monitors and records embryo development throughout the culture period.

2.Continuous 24-Hour Embryo Monitoring

EmbryoScope+ captures images of embryo development at regular intervals, 24 hours a day. Fertility specialists and embryologists can review every stage of cell division, allowing them to observe subtle developmental changes that may be missed with periodic microscopic examination.

3.No Need to Remove the Embryo from the Incubator

With conventional embryo culture, embryos must be removed from the incubator for periodic assessment. Each time an embryo is taken out, it is exposed to changes in temperature, light, and surrounding gas conditions.

EmbryoScope+ eliminates this need by allowing continuous monitoring without disturbing the embryo, helping to maintain a stable culture environment.

4.Stable Culture Environment

EmbryoScope+ carefully controls temperature, humidity, and gas concentrations to closely mimic the natural environment of the uterus. This stable environment supports continuous embryo development without unnecessary interruption.

5.Detailed Data for Selecting High-Quality Embryos

By continuously recording embryo development, EmbryoScope+ provides embryologists with comprehensive developmental data for analysis. This information helps identify the healthiest embryos with the highest implantation potential, supporting more informed embryo selection.

Key Features of EmbryoScope+

EmbryoScope+ is more than just a conventional embryo incubator. It is an advanced technology designed to improve embryo quality and increase the chances of pregnancy through the following key features.

1. Time-Lapse Monitoring

Time-lapse technology continuously records embryo development 24 hours a day.

Every stage of cell division is captured, allowing fertility specialists to monitor embryo development in detail without missing any stage. This differs from conventional embryo culture, where embryos are removed from the incubator for periodic assessment, which may result in incomplete developmental information.

Benefit for patients: Doctors can observe embryo development more comprehensively, improving the accuracy of selecting the healthiest embryo.

2. AI & Algorithm Analysis

EmbryoScope+ does more than capture images. It is equipped with intelligent software that analyses embryo development.

Using advanced AI and algorithms, the system helps assess which embryos have the greatest potential for implantation and successful pregnancy. These insights support fertility specialists and embryologists in making more informed embryo selection decisions.

Benefit for patients: Reduces the risk of selecting embryos with lower developmental potential and increases the likelihood of successful IVF treatment.

3. Stable Culture Environment

One of the most important factors in embryo culture is maintaining conditions that closely resemble the natural environment of the uterus.

EmbryoScope+ precisely controls temperature, humidity, and gas concentrations, allowing embryos to develop continuously without unnecessary environmental disturbance.

Benefit for patients: Provides embryos with a more stable environment, supporting healthy development and improving the chances of pregnancy.

Summary: EmbryoScope+ combines advanced embryo culture technology, continuous time-lapse monitoring, and AI-assisted embryo analysis within a stable and protected environment to help improve the chances of successful fertility treatment.

Beyond IVF and EmbryoScope+

At Beyond IVF, we understand that every step of fertility treatment matters because every patient's dream of having a child is precious. That is why we have chosen to use EmbryoScope+, one of the world's most advanced embryo incubators, to help produce healthy, high-quality embryos with the greatest implantation potential.

What Makes Beyond IVF Different?

EmbryoScope+ for Every Patient

We use EmbryoScope+ for every embryo culture case, not just selected patients, ensuring that every embryo is cultured under the best possible conditions.

Care by Experienced Fertility Specialists and Embryologists

Our team of fertility specialists and embryologists carefully monitors embryo development and uses the data generated by EmbryoScope+ to evaluate each embryo in detail, helping identify those with the highest developmental potential.

Advanced Technology Available at Only a Few Fertility Centres in Thailand

Currently, only a limited number of fertility clinics in Thailand use EmbryoScope+. Beyond IVF is proud to be one of them because we believe our patients deserve treatment that meets international standards, comparable with leading fertility centres worldwide.

This reflects our commitment to helping every couple maximise their chances of achieving their dream of parenthood by combining advanced technology with expert fertility care.

EmbryoScope+: An Important Step Towards Successful Fertility Treatment

EmbryoScope+ is more than an embryo culture system. It is an advanced technology that helps improve embryo quality and increase the success rates of IVF treatment through continuous 24-hour embryo monitoring, AI-assisted embryo assessment, and a stable culture environment that closely mimics the natural conditions of the uterus.

At Beyond IVF, we use EmbryoScope+ throughout the embryo culture process because we believe your dream of having a child deserves the highest standard of technology and expert care.

The Biological Clock

This tool indicates:

  • Natural conception per month if you have no fertility issues
  • IVF success rate at the same age
  • When to seek help after months of unsuccessful attempts

If you are concerned at any stage – we recommend booking a doctor appointment or a free nurse consultation. The sooner you make a plan the better your chances in the long term.

When to seek advice early

  • If you have polycystic ovaries, endometriosis, or have been through a cancer diagnosis; we recommend you get in touch quickly so we can talk you through all your options and give you the greatest possible chance of success.
  • If you’re a single woman considering motherhood in the future; it’s best to approach us early and consider egg freezing as this can be an option for you while you have a higher ovarian reserve and healthier eggs.

Body Mass Index calculator

Being overweight or underweight can reduce fertility, so it is important to keep your body weight within the normal healthy range.

Body Mass Index (BMI) is an indication of your body weight and can be calculated by dividing weight by height. You should aim for a BMI of between 20 and 25, as this will optimise your chances of conception.

Woman’s BMI below 19

Even in these modern times, nature knows best. If a woman's BMI falls below 19, the body senses famine and ovulation is switched off to prevent the risk of having a baby with malnutrition. Excessive exercise can reduce body fat and increase muscle mass to a point where periods cease for the same reason. Risk of miscarriage is also increased in women with a low BMI.

Being underweight

If a woman's BMI falls below 19, the body senses famine and ovulation is switched off to prevent the risk of having a baby with malnutrition. Excessive exercise can reduce body fat and increase muscle mass to a point where periods cease for the same reason. Risk of miscarriage is also increased in women with a low BMI.

BMI’s greater than 30

This can reduce fertility by 50%. Pregnancy for women with a 30+ BMI is often associated with problems such as maternal diabetes, high blood pressure, big babies and increased risk of caesarean section.
